Repeat, Repeat, Repeat…

Sometimes I think I am a broken record! Do you?

I am a real talker, love a conversation and love socialising. When it comes to my boys there is no difference, I am always chatting away to them. It’s nice to have a little voice answer back to me (even if the answer or comment isn’t quite what I want to hear)

However there are times when I feel like I’m on repeat…these are my top 10 ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. The couch is for sitting not jumping
  2. The bed is for sleeping not jumping
  3. Come on eat up
  4. Please just sit down
  5. Ta, ta ,ta…. (trying to get Zaci to hand something back)
  6. That’s enough now
  7. I’m going to loose my mind ( I say this one to myself)
  8. Come here…….now
  9. I’m going to count to 3
  10. Put that down

Mummy’s little tip of the day – Next time you are in a phase of repetition take a breath and remember to think at that very moment there are mums and dads all over the world probably saying the similar things things to their kiddies. Yes, we are all on repeat, all worth it though hey!

Amazing What You Can Do With One Hand!

When two hands are free it’s kinda weird..

I’m sure most mothers would agree that you learn very fast how to manage life and getting things done with one hand. Whether you are holding your little one, or something that belongs to your bubba or handing a little hand we kinda manage!

I can remember the first time I had an outing in the car on my own with the 3 boys. My thought was hmmmm, who do I put in the car first and how many trips will this take me. From that moment I knew my hands were always going to be full of babies or baby stuff.

You soon pick up tips on how to mange things on your own without getting too flustered.

Mummy’s tip of the day – To ensure your hands are not too full, pack your nappy bag the night before. If you have appointments and running around the next day then get organised. Pop in spare clothes, nappies, wipes, food and bottles. And don’t forget yourself, pop a snack and drink bottle in there too for you. Some days having time to grab a bite to eat can be a challenge. You look at the clock it’s 10am then next thing you realise it’s 3pm. It’s important to eat and look after yourself too!

It’s the weekend, YAY! Enjoy it, with whatever you and your little family have planned. ๐Ÿ™‚

This Week Has Been Busy!

Where does the time go?!

I’m back! I have had a very busy week. I literary haven’t had time to sit and type.

Work is going really well. I’m in the business one to two days a week and doing training preparation at home. They say time flies when you are having fun. However we’ve had a few sleepless nights in our house, funny enough it not because of the big boy bed. A mixture of teething and the little ones being a little sick. If it’s not one it’s the other.

Ahhh the joys ๐Ÿ˜‰

My house is a little crazy at the moment I just can’t seem to get on top of the clean washing. I have a mountain that needs to be folded. Unless it folds it self I won’t be doing it for a while. I must say out of all of the house chores it’s the one thing I really dislike doing!!

Mummy’s tip of the day – My view is as long as your kiddies have clean clothes to wear it doesn’t really matter if you get the clothes out of the drawers or out of the clean washing basket. Myย mantra is –ย I will get to it, there is too much fun to be had first!!

Happy Hump Day People! Mwahhhhhh xx

Such A Special Day

Mother’s Day..

My third mothers day was so enjoyable.Time with my hubby and my 3 boys. A day to reflect on the past and think about how long it took us to become parents. And think about the last two and a half wonderful years. Oh how life has changed and how quickly we have become a family of 6 (I must include our fur baby Marge!!)

Mothers day for us a morning together to spend some time just us. Then we met up with the entire family. It’s always a fun day, full of laughs, beautiful food and delicious champagne to celebrate. (My head was a little sore this morning)

This year my gift from my boys and hubby is a night away in town. I will be spending next weekend with some of my best girlfriends. We are going to a lovely new restaurant in the city then spending a night in luxury.Time out with the chickies, enjoy some beautiful food and kick up our heals a little. Then back to our hotel for some late night chats and peaceful sleep. I can’t wait!! ย

Mummy’s little tip of the day – A night away from the kiddies is a great way to re-charge the batteries. If your partner can have the children for a night or two I highly suggest it. When Zac was 6 months old, some girlfriends and I went away for 2 nights. It’s a lovely bonding time for the children and their dads. The dads can do as they choose. I think at times we take control and the poor dads just follow our lead. It’s great for them to make decisions and be in control for a little while.

I hope Mother’s Day was a lovely day for all!
