Fabulous Ticks So Far

When you tick them off…it feels so damn good! (not in any particular order)

FullSizeRender (11)

  1. NO sterilizing. The boys made it to 6 months and I thought that’s it, you’re on the floor picking up things and putting into your mouth, surely that’s dirtier than washing bottles by hand and tap water.
  2. No ‘over night’ feeds. I don’t know what was worse, waking every three hours or the crap on TV. Actually both were pretty bad ekkkk
  3. No more in and out of the car capsules. They were heavy and annoying.
  4. All car seats are forward facing, so much easier to get the monkeys n and out of the car.
  5. Finishing breastfeeding. I wasn’t fond on breastfeeding. It was uncomfortable and having two babies hanging off me whilst watch a toddler getting up to crazy things was stressful.
  6.   They play all together….for a little while before Zaci knocks the little boys over. I can fit in a coffee while watching them happy.
  7. No more dream feeds. Trying to stay awake til 10:30pm on a school night isn’t easy. Pop them in bed at 7pm and fingers crossed no peep til  morning.
  8. Feed them on the run. If it is nearing lunch time and I have been caught out and about with not enough food. Dropping by the bakery to grab lunch for the boys is so easy now. Yay to not having to pre-prepare everything.

While there is still a long way to go, they have come so far. It gets easier as time goes on and more sleep at night is more accessible. It goes fast, and while I want the boys to grow up I don’t want to loose my babies too quick.

Have a fabulous afternoon! Stay cool Melbourne, and stay safe where ever you are in the world 🙂

Looking after your skin

My routine…IMG_0150.JPG

People ask me all the time what I use on my skin. There’s two things I can’t live without. My ‘Got-To’ skin care range and my Runway Room ‘Face Base’ foundation.

Both of these products work hand-in-hand to keep my skin well hydrated, dewy and clear. Face Base is beautiful light and hydrating. The best thing about this foundation is you can build it up to have more coverage if you like, say for evening. And light and fresh for day. It’s perfect! The skin care range has everything you need, from cleanser to a fabulous ‘Face Hero’ oil, this is like a magic potion under your moisturizer, I love it!

I’ve tried many products over my life time. I thank my Nan for my love of skin care products and bathroom full of cosmetics. She was the same, the minute a new product came onto the market she was there buying it and giving it a go. At the ripe old age of 93 she looked to be in her 60’s-70’s, she thanked two things, looking after her skin with good care and a shandy most nights to assist relaxation.

With all of the Christmas parties, late nights and plenty of drinking it’s so important to take your make up off at night. Even if you don’t feel like it, do it. You’ll never regret it the next morning. Btw, it’s been proven by experts that leaving makeup on over night accelerates the aging process…..now no body wants that!! Haha

Have a wonderful weekend guys! Look after your skin and most of all enjoy this time of year. Kick up your heals and have fun!!

Fabulous Time Of Year

Christmas Time..

Image result for christmas time

I have always been one to love this time of year. Even before kiddies the thought of giving, the social events and surprises. You can’t beat it!

Then kiddies came along……well it gets even better doesn’t it! Shopping and coming up with ideas on how to surprise them. Putting them to bed Christmas Eve in time for Santa to drop past and pop pressies under the tree. While the little boys don’t know about Santa and the meaning yet, Zaci certainly does. We’ve convinced him Santa needs to be called Santa and not ‘Ho Ho’.

For me shopping ‘on line’has been a fabulous this year. Getting organised with a list and making purchases early was the key. I’m pretty much done…..aside from hubby. He is always a challenge to buy for. I get over buying golf-ie things. I like to surprise people. Got to pop my thinking cap on haha.

The time is going fast, I hope you are all enjoying the lead up to Christmas! I definitely am.

The most wonderful time of year!
